  • Eastfield pupils' Graffiti Art success presented to NYPA

    With funding from Eastfield's Voice Your Choice project in 2009, pupils from the St George's; Overdale and Braeburn Junior schools in the Eastfield area have been working together to produce inspiring Graffiti Art.

  • Policing Plan gets final approval

    North Yorkshire Police Authority members, last week, gave final approval to the Policing Plan 2010-11. Previously endorsed at the end of March, members were presented, by the Chief Constable, with the updated plan at the Annual General Meeting of the Authority on 28 June 2010.

  • Delivering value for money through collaboration published

    The four Chief Constables of Yorkshire and the Humber and the Joint Police Authorities Committee have welcomed the publication of a paper that outlines potential savings to each of the forces achieved through additional collaboration.

  • North Yorkshire's 'Best' Officers named and celebrated

    PC Michelle McFarlane from Stokesley in the Hambleton district has been awarded the title of North Yorkshire's Safer Neighbourhoods Police Officer of the Year for 2010 and will now be entered into the national awards and attend Jane's Police Review magazine Gala evening in November in London.
